Football resumed after The Great War and Billericay rejoined the Chelmsford & District League, yo-yoing between the Second and Third Division.
​
During the 1924-25 season the club were referred to as Billericay Town and would face Billericay Albion in league competition.
​
By the end of the decade Bolivian Ulises Saucedo had joined the club and was a regular goal scorer and playmaker for the team. He would return to South America in 1930 to manage his home country at the first ever World Cup.
